
Hyderabad. Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was produced before an anti-corruption special court in Vijayawada in tight security, has been sent for 14 days of judicial custody to the Rajahmundry jail.
Telegu Desham Party leader Chandrababu Naidu is involved in connections with 371 crores of corruption scam under Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation, which was established under his regime in power. Mr. Naidu has told to the court that he has been falsely framed for “Political gains” and there is no technically sound accusation is against him.
Story behind skill development corporation
During the tenure an luxurious budget of 2015-16 under TDP led Ex-CM Chandrababu Naidu with crores of money and deals were allocated to Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation a unit incorporated by state govt. As per CID investigations, there were huge irregularities and the scam involved with advance payment of 371 crores rupees to private entities which was about 10 percent as committed by then state government.
Most of this 371 Crore fund was diverted via shell companies with fake invoices, no delivery receipts or sale of invoices. CID unit also quoted that chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao objected to the advance payments made to private company and noted it this was done as per instructions given by Ex-CM N Chandrababu Naidu.
