Congress Leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury won’t appear at Ram Mandir Inauguration, Mamta calls it Gimmick

New Delhi. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury have declined the Ram Mandir Invitation citing the reasons as it is “RSS/BJP” event. As per congress “Religion is personal matter, but RSS/BJP have made it political event, they will encash it for gaining votes and as promotional campaign during Loksabha elections 2024”

While, West Bengal CM Mamta Baneerjee has stated it as “Gimmick and it separates two sections of society. Hindus and Muslims majorly and she will never allow BJP/RSS to do so.”

Ram Mandir’s historical verdict was delivered on 9th Nov 2019 by five member panel of Judges Justice Ashok Bhushan, Justice SA Bobde, CJI Ranjan Gogoi, Justice DY Chandrachud, and Justice S Abdul Nazeer and it was unanimously declared as Ram Mandir site and construction of Mandir by Government was allowed.

Ram Mandir is a long agitation since more than 500 years old since British era. Ram Mandir will be inaugurated on 22 Jan 2024 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath at Ram Janmbhoomi, Ayodha. More than millions of Karsevaks will gather at Mandir opening ceremony and many state functions will be held.
