Dehradun : Heavy rainfall and thunder reported in 5 districts of Uttarakhand, yellow alert announced

Dehradun. Uttrakhand state is experiencing heavy rainfalls and thundering since yesterday. Yellow alert is announced for 5 districts of Uttarakhand Dehradun, Naintal, Champawat, Chamoli and Bageshwar, while other cities will experience light showers.

Kedarnath will experience slow rains.

Hindu pilgrim site Kedarnath will experience very slow rains in during day time. Maximum temperature could rise to 14 degree and minimum would be around 6 degree Celsius. The weather is cloudy pleasant and light rainfall was observed on this Friday.

Mussorie will be cloudy, Haridwar will be pleasant.

Mussorie will experience heavy rainfalls with thunder till sunday as heavy clouds are surrounding nearby localities. The maximum temperature 27 degree while minimum 20 degree was recorded at Mussorie. Haridwar city will be pleasant, less cloudy with temperature ranging 32 degree max and 25 degree min.

Others districts of Uttarakhand will receive light showers, Uttarakhand state govt administration has released notification for five districts as yellow alert and cautioned residents to move out only if required.
